Nightscapes

The Nightscapes collection presents forest settings at twilight. Using panoramic photography and a combination of natural and artificial light, the series explores the idea of "place" and "presence." Light at the camera’s position illuminates an area close by, but falls away with distance. We find ourselves in a solitary place within the forest, surrounded by darkness, yet illuminated by a source that comes from everywhere and nowhere at the same time. Created with high-resolution digital capture, these scenes can be rendered in large print sizes with fine detail.
