"In the Nightscapes series, light at the camera’s position illuminates an area close by, but diminishes with distance. We find ourselves in a solitary place within the forest, surrounded by darkness, yet illuminated by a source that seems to come from everywhere and nowhere at the same time. The series draws on this effect to explore ideas of presence and relativity."
